Vereinzelte Funde auf dem Gebiet Wülflingens datieren bis auf die Steinzeit zurück, jedoch gibt es auch in dieser Zeit noch keine Spuren einer festen Besiedlung. In der Bronzezeit verdichten sich die Fundbestände bereits, beim 1822 erfolgten Bau der Spinnerei Beugger wurde ein Depotfund aus diesem Zeitraum ausgehoben, der zu einer Bronzegiesserei gehört haben könnte. Aus der Latènezeit konnte in der Kiesgrube nördlich des Friedhofs Wülflingen ein Kriegergrab nachgewiesen werden. Auf dem Plateau des Beerenbergs befand sich in prähistorischer Zeit eine befestigte Höhensiedlung, von der heute aber nur noch eine Wallschüttung zu erkennen ist.
